No. CashPrice Health is a membership program that gives you direct access to a primary care physician and cash-price access to labs, imaging, and specialty care. It is not insurance and does not satisfy the requirements of minimum essential coverage under the Affordable Care Act. We recommend pairing a CarePass membership with a high-deductible health plan or a health-share program for catastrophic coverage.

Direct Primary Care is a model where patients pay a flat monthly fee directly to their physician's practice in exchange for unlimited access — office visits, virtual visits, text messages, and care coordination — without insurance in between. Studies suggest DPC handles 80–90% of the healthcare concerns a typical adult runs into in a year.

CarePass Pro includes everything in Go, plus in-person Direct Primary Care with Dr. Bhavana Rao and her team at Meridian Springs Primary Care, priority same-day appointments, and a personal care coordinator you can text 24/7 to help you find providers, get pricing, and book specialty care.

Yes. There are no long-term contracts. Monthly plans can be canceled at the end of any billing cycle. Annual members stay active until the end of the paid period.

We negotiate directly with pharmacy partners on a curated list of over 1,000 generic medications, and pass the wholesale pricing (often 50–90% off retail) through to members with no markup. Brand-name medications are available at cash prices negotiated by our pharmacy coordinator.

CarePass Pro members see Dr. Rao as their DPC physician. You're welcome to continue seeing any specialists you already have a relationship with — our coordinator will help you find transparent cash prices or navigate your existing insurance. CarePass Go is virtual-only and pairs well with a local physician or an urgent-care network.
